Introduced by Thor Dalebø of Normandy, France, France in 2023, Canna (Balisier) ‘Michelle Louise’ is a medium sized Premier Group cultivar; mid green foliage, elliptical shaped, acute apex, branching habit; flowers are open, cerise-pink with light-cream stripes, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, petals green, fully self-cleaning, outstanding bloomer, flowers in summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is good.
