Introduced by Thor Dalebø of Normandy, France, France in 2023, Canna (Balisier) ‘La Colombe’ is a small Crozy Group cultivar; mid green foliage, ovoid shaped, acute apex, branching habit; clusters of flowers are open, self-coloured pale yellow, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, labellum is cream with salmon spots, stamen is pale yellow speckled with salmon, style is butter-yellow, petals green, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in early summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is good.
