Introduced by Thor Dalebø of Normandy, France, France in 2011, Canna (Balisier) ‘Campaign’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; dark foliage, ovoid shaped, maroon margin, branching habit; oval main stems, coloured purple; flowers are cerise with a gold margin, throat gold, edges irregular, stamen is gold with cerise spots, style is gold, petals red with farina, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured purple; tillering is average.
