Introduced by Thor Dalebø of Normandy, France, France in 2020, Canna (Balisier) ‘Beslon Rouge’ is a medium sized Premier Group cultivar; purple foliage, elliptical shaped, acute apex, branching habit; clusters of flowers are self-coloured ruby red, edges irregular, fully self-cleaning, outstanding bloomer, flowers in summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is good.

Canna ‘Beslon Rouge’ is available from specialist growers; breeding is C. ‘Zulu Warrior’ x open.
