Introduced by Antoine Wintzer of The Conard & Jones Co., West Grove, Pennsylvania, USA, Canna (Balisier) ‘Mrs Antoine Wintzer’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, branching habit; spikes of flowers are reflexed, self-coloured yellow, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, good bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white.
