Introduced by Ernest Turc Nursery, Angers, France, Canna (Balisier) ‘TURoudan’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, elliptical shaped, acute apex, upright habit; clusters of flowers are open, orange-red with a wide lemon margin, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, petals green, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is prolific.
