Introduced by Ernest Turc Nursery, Angers, France, Canna (Balisier) ‘Centurion’ is a tall Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, oval shaped, maroon margin, spreading habit; oval main stems, coloured green; triangular flower stalks, coloured green; flowers are open, self-coloured tangerine-orange, staminodes are medium size, fully self-cleaning, low bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is slow.

Canna ‘Centurion’ is available from specialist growers.
