Canna (Balisier) ‘Scorch’ is a medium sized Foliage Group cultivar; green foliage, oval shaped, branching habit; triangular main stems, coloured green; spikes of flowers are erect, self-coloured peach, staminodes are narrow, labellum is peach, stamen is gold with pink spots, style is gold, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is average.
