Introduced by Bernard Yorke, Australia, Canna (Balisier) ‘Pisces’ is a small Premier Group cultivar; green and purple variegated foliage, oval shaped; oval main stems, coloured green + purple; clusters of flowers are open, white and pale-rose, staminodes are large, edges lightly frilled, labellum is white streaked with old-rose, stamen is pale yellow rayed with old-rose, style is white and pale-rose, blooms open in the early morning; seed is sterile, pollen is sterile; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is slow.
