Introduced by Martin Davis of Gloucester, England, Canna (Balisier) ‘Osric’ is a small Premier Group cultivar; green foliage, ovoid shaped, spreading habit; oval main stems, coloured green; triangular flower stalks, coloured green; flowers are open, self-coloured pink, throat pink, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, labellum is pink, stamen is pink, style is pink, petals pink, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is average.
