Introduced by Dr. Jack Roberson, USA in 1994, Canna (Balisier) ‘Liberty Bugle Boy™’ is a small Crozy Group cultivar; mid green foliage, ovoid shaped, acute apex, white margin, branching habit; clusters of flowers are open, red with yellow blotches, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, petals green, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink and purple; tillering is good.
