Introduced by Georges Truffaut Nursery, France in 1952, Canna (Balisier) ‘Jupiter (2)’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, oval shaped, branching habit; triangular main stems, coloured green; flowers are self-coloured carmine, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and purple.
