Introduced by Green Works International BV, Canna (Balisier) ‘Happy Emily’ is a small; dark green foliage, oblong shaped, acute apex, transparent margin, branching habit; oval main stems, coloured green; round flower stalks, coloured green; clusters of flowers are open, gold with red-orange spots, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, stamen is gold, style is gold, petals green, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in early summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, true to type, not self-pollinating, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is good.
