Introduced by Bernard Yorke, Australia, Canna (Balisier) ‘Capricornia’ is a tall Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage; flowers are open, self-coloured red-orange, staminodes are medium size, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink.

Canna ‘Capricornia’ is available from specialist growers.
