Introduced by Marcelle Sheppard Nursery, Texas, USA, Canna (Balisier) ‘Rose Ribbons’ is a small Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, ovoid shaped, branching habit; flowers are pendulous, self-coloured rose, staminodes are narrow, edges irregular, petals purple, fully self-cleaning, average bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink; tillering is slow.
