Canna (Balisier) ‘Pringle Bay’ is a small Premier Group cultivar; variegated foliage, oval shaped, spreading habit; flowers are open, self-coloured pink, staminodes are large, edges irregular, petals red with farina, fully self-cleaning, low bloomer, flowers in late summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink and purple; tillering is slow.
