Canna (Balisier) ‘Pearly Shells’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; mid green foliage, elliptical shaped, acute apex, branching habit; clusters of flowers are open, cream with an apricot-orange blush, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, petals yellow, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not true to type, self-pollinating, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is slow.
