Introduced by Théodore Année, Passy, France in 1862, Canna (Balisier) ‘Grandiflora floribunda’ is a medium sized Foliage Group cultivar; light green foliage, small, oval shaped, upright habit; oval main stems, coloured green; flowers are self-coloured apricot, edges regular, petals green, fully self-cleaning, outstanding bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white.
