Canna (Balisier) ‘Crepe L’Orange’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; mid green foliage, elliptical shaped, acute apex, branching habit; clusters of flowers are cupped, cadmium-orange with deep tangerine blotches, staminodes are long and narrow, edges irregular, stamen is gold, style is gold, petals purple, fully self-cleaning, low bloomer, flowers in late summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured purple; tillering is good.
