Introduced by Ty Ty Nursery, USA, Canna (Balisier) ‘Creamy Stripes’ is a small Premier Group cultivar; green and yellow variegated foliage, ovoid shaped, acute apex, transparent margin, branching habit; clusters of flowers are open, cream speckled with gold, staminodes are large, edges lightly frilled, petals green, fully self-cleaning, low bloomer, flowers in late summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; seed is sterile, pollen is sterile; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is slow.
