Introduced by Takii & Co., Japan., Japan, Canna (Balisier) ‘Cannova Lemon’ is a Miniature Group cultivar; mid green foliage, ovoid shaped, branching habit; oval main stems, coloured bronze; oval flower stalks, coloured green; clusters of flowers are open, self-coloured lemon, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, fully self-cleaning, average bloomer, flowers in late spring until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, true to type, not self-pollinating, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink and purple; tillering is average.
