Introduced by Raphaël Roger, Belgium in 2006, Canna (Balisier) ‘Bonnet’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, elliptical shaped, spreading habit; round main stems; flowers are open, self-coloured yellow, staminodes are medium size, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is average.
