Introduced by Raelene Cowan of Canpelkni Blooms, Victoria, Australia, Canna (Balisier) ‘Artiorae’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; mid green foliage, ovoid shaped, acute apex, white margin, branching habit; clusters of flowers are open, self-coloured apricot-orange, staminodes are medium size, edges ruffled, petals red, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not true to type, self-pollinating, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is good.
