Canna (Balisier) ‘Abbé Rosier’ is a tall Foliage Group cultivar; green foliage, upright habit; oval main stems, coloured green; triangular flower stalks, coloured green; flowers are erect, light orange with a vermilion blush, staminodes are medium size, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not true to type, self-pollinating, capsules globose; rhizomes are tuber-like groups, coloured white and pink; tillering is average.
