Coles Nursery, USA in C. 1930, Canna (Balisier) ‘Rosemond Coles’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, oval shaped, acute apex, spreading habit; flowers are red with a yellow margin, staminodes are large, edges irregular, petals green, not self-cleaning, average bloomer, flowers in late summer until frosts, blooms open in the early morning; seed is sterile, pollen is sterile; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and purple; tillering is average.
